Neon Lightning Force Versión 1.5 Demo

I finally finished the Neon Lightning Force Demo! Some users had asked me already for the demo through comments on YouTube.

And as I said the Neon Lightning Force demo arrived in April of this year, here I explain the details.

About the Neon Lightning Force 1.5 Demo

This demo will come without cutscenes but those who have played the previous version of Neon Lightning Force that I published in 2016 will already know what the story is about, there are no changes there.

The main changes have been in the gameplay where the evasion buttons have been changed to make room for a new button: Drop Weapon.

Because the number of weapons I added to the game has increased, now it has the triple compared to the previous version, even though they have similar functions between, they give a nice visual appealing to the video game.

The playable characters have also been better balanced, nerfing the strongest ones and strengthening the weakest ones.

You may find some bugs or incomplete functions in the demo, at the moment that issue is being resolved, in any case I would appreciate reporting strange bugs or glitches through the contact page.

Help for Neon Lightning Force

My full thanks to the users of the Chronocrash Community, not only for supporting OpenBOR, the engine I use to create Neon Lightning Force.

But also for the help they gave me in this project, however there are still problems that I am looking to solve:

  • I need a “bounce” effect for bullets that collide with robots and other metal entities.
  • Icons for healing items, without their life bar showing (small optional detail).
  • Some OpenBOR version that doesn’t have so many glitches, because I have discovered that some of these are due to the OpenBOR engine itself (I’m using the 6391) like enemies that are able to block attacks while they are on the ground xd.

I hope to finish this project by June of this year 2024, about the English version it may not come out at the same time as the Spanish version, as happened in the 2016 release due to tecnical issues, but I’ll try to finish it on the anniversary date too.
