As soon as I read “A side story prequel of the Openbor game Neon Lightning Force…” I was immediately intrigued by the idea that someone had been inspired to create a mod based on the conceptual universe of Neon Lightning Force.

One thing I would like to highlight about Tides Before the Tragedy is how it tells its own story while expanding the Neon Lightning Force universe with new characters (Jamal, Leah, and villains such as Tyson, Graham Klessenford, and Rachel Anatollia), giving us its own narrative and context. This is exactly the kind of fan project I would love to share here.

As for the author, at the time of this publication, they are working on several mods for the Chronocrash community. One of them is Real Bout Pro Wrestling, a professional wrestling game set in the Veltran Coliseum of Neópolis.
