When I was able to beat Golden Axe (with a friend), it took practice, luck and skill, since there were not tricks to win. Here it's the same: Silver Night's Crusaders is in fact a game that recreates the experience of playing one of these old classic titles of the past... View complete review on RPGmaker.net

What a truly awesome project.. yet one ruined once again by broken difficulty. From the mid-game onwards, there are so many cheap hits and traps that trying to memorize and dodge them all is pointless, because there simply isn’t enough room to do that. «Rondo of Blood» was tough, but it was fair. Here, there is no fairness whatsoever, just reliance on the invincibility frames you get after losing a life. And after all of that, an even harder mode unlocks? No thanks, that would definitely be a waste of time. It’s a real shame, because the game itself is actually good. It looks and plays great, but the balance is simply inhumane. I’ll never understand the desire of fans to ramp up the difficulty of their projects to insane levels.
