True Role Dreams is looking for technical guidance to make it easier to distribute its OpenBOR games on Android devices.
At the moment, the games can be played using the official OpenBOR emulator for Android or through EasyRPG Player for RPG Maker 2000/2003 projects. However, installing them still requires several manual steps. The goal is to find a simpler way to distribute the games through APK packages that make installation much easier.
I’ve already tried several YouTube tutorials on packaging Android applications… and none of them worked x.x.
What kind of help am I looking for?
Guidance on creating APK packages for OpenBOR and/or RPG Maker 2003 projects.
Advice on tools, workflows, or methods used to package these games for Android.
Explanations that allow me to reproduce the entire process independently for future updates.
Compatibility testing on different Android devices.
Help publishing an initial APK so players can install the games more easily, and ideally publish them on Google Play or alternative stores.
Requirements
Experience packaging OpenBOR and/or RPG Maker 2003 games for Android.
Knowledge of Android build tools, emulation, or application distribution.
Experience publishing applications on Google Play or alternative stores (preferred xd).
Project Goal
The initial objective is to release Android versions of my games. After that, I’d like to learn a workflow that allows me to maintain and update future releases on my own (knowing myself, I’ll probably discover new bugs years later x.x).
Recognition
True Role Dreams is an independent hobby project developed by me, Crimsondeath, so these collaborations are voluntary and unpaid.
