This vocal arrangement was inspired by the music from the first level of Silver Night’s Crusaders, where the protagonists save a village plagued by monsters (hence the name). I originally titled the track “Monster Killer” without imagining that the game would become so well received. Looking back, I probably should have renamed it “The Crusaders”, since it sounds very much like the main theme of Silver Night’s Crusaders.

After listening to the song’s lyrics (I had to use a translator because I don’t know Japanese  languaje xd), it seems to express Sheeba’s melancholy as she misses Evaine. That’s a feeling I also wanted to convey with the song I chose for the Silver Night’s Crusaders trailer (“Star” by Eyes of Eden). However, this arrangement, performed by Ai, sounds so good that it could easily serve as the game’s main theme.
